AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Front Desk Administrative Assistant

Location: Wadsworth Office
Job Type: Part-time (24 hours/week)
Schedule: 4 days per week, 6-hour shifts
Pay: $17-18 per hour

Position Overview

The Front Desk Administrative Assistant is one of the first faces our patients see when they arrive. This entry-level role focuses on creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our front office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized, and is looking to begin or grow a career in healthcare administration. No medical experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Answer and manage incoming patient phone calls, providing excellent customer service while directing questions, scheduling appointments, and routing messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Prepare patient charts prior to appointments to ensure providers are ready for the day.
  • Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record.
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to provide an exceptional patient experience.

  • Previous customer service, receptionist, retail, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-first mindset.
