Born and raised in the desert, Susan attended University of Nevada Las Vegas where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Science in Kinesiology. During that time she also found her love for physical therapy through working as a technician in an outpatient orthopedic clinic and also found running. She completed her first half marathon, several 5 and10Ks and triathlons.

After graduating, she packed up and headed east, landing in Ohio at Walsh University where she continued her studies working towards her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During her time at Walsh she discovered the specialty field of Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and fell in love from the start, knowing that was the population she wanted to serve. Through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond there is a lack of resources and services available to women to educate and empower them during these changing times physically, mentally and emotionally. Susan works to bridge the gap working with an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to guide women through their journeys including pregnancy and postpartum wellness care, physical therapy to treat common but NOT normal issues such as leaking, prolapse, diastasis associated with pregnancy/postpartum, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse and other issues that limit a woman’s ability to do things they love.

When she isn’t in the clinic, she loves staying active with running, spending time with her family, her husband Steve and two children Maverick and Evelyn. As a family, they love to camp at their camper down in Loudonville
