Sandy Cooper, CRNP
Functional Medicine Practitioner
Sandy Cooper has a passion for lifelong learning and is always curious about how she might help women optimize their health and empower them to live at their highest level. She is a Nationally Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 17 years of experience. Prior to that she worked as a Nationally Certified Nurse Midwife. Her curiosity led her to become certified in Functional Medicine by the Institute of Functional Medicine in 2020. Here she finds a model of care that allows for listening to the patient’s story, assessing for clinical imbalances and partnering with a woman to empower her to live her best life. She spent 6 years at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. This holistic approach to the care of women is the most rewarding of her career. She is excited to be joining Practical Healing and continue to partner with women on their health journey.
When not in the office, Sandy enjoys exercise, reading, trying new recipes and gathering with friends. She is married with 2 grown sons, a daughter-in-law and 2 grand dogs.
Josh Kwasnicka, PA-C, ABAAHP
Men’s Health and Performance Specialist
Josh Kwasnicka, PA-C, ABAAHP, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and A4M-certified practitioner specializing in men’s health and hormone optimization. He is dedicated to empowering patients to achieve peak health and performance through a proactive, evidence-based approach that integrates healthy lifestyle practices with advanced laboratory testing, imaging, and biometric assessments.
Josh’s passion for biology, physiology, and the human body began at age 15 through competitive powerlifting, igniting a lifelong commitment to optimizing health and performance. This drive led him to become a Physician Assistant, where he gained extensive experience in Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care. These roles deepened his understanding of anatomy and physiology while reinforcing his focus on preventive strategies to keep patients thriving outside the hospital.
With a special interest in men’s health, Josh partners with his patients to identify and address gaps in their wellness, offering personalized plans to optimize hormones, enhance training programs, and boost overall vitality. His goal is to prevent disease and help patients live life to the fullest.
When not working with patients, Josh pushes himself through muscle growth training and enduro-style mountain biking. His leisure time is spent with his wife, Logan, and their two children, Isaac and Ginny.
